Is Stephen Buonocore really a lightweight when it comes to drinking as Matt Loter claims?
Steve Weeks and Aldie discuss Michael Barnes? What was said?
What is the last game you would expect to see on a table at BGG CON? A game only Steve Weeks could teach as the last standing Ameritrash Icon!

* Does Steve Weeks still have an overinflated sense of his own importance?
* Does anyone besides Steve Weeks and care about the opinion of Steve Weeks?
* Has anyone told Steve Weeks that it's 2014 and he needs a new shtick?

1. I have never had an overinflated sense of self importance. On the contrary, this is why I volunteer my time to introduce people to great games. Really enjoyed doing the demos and getting people on the right track with the right kind of games.
2. This was not an opinion post. It was simply a report for those thinking of going to BGG COn. Lots of people , myself included have had a distorted view of BGG CON since the Great Ameritrash/Euro War of 2006. When the smoke has cleared it simply proves itself to be the BEST gaming convention there is out there.
3. Not sure what you mean by shtick...as stated before simply reporting on BGG CON. My Podcast has long since been retired and there are many to chose from now. That is simply a different hobby, I prefer gaming but did enjoy my run as King of the Gaming Podcast, never laughed so hard in my life.

Always great to see you around, Weeks...you are like a figure of messianic absurdity, and your power to almost instantly irritate people is a true gift. I'm glad to see it hasn't worn off.
Weeks was a PIONEER of board games podcasting. Back when he was doing his shows, NOBODY was doing anything NEARLY as good and as well-produced. It was all of these nebbishes sitting around a microphone- "so...uh...this game...actually...it's really good...and...uh..." Weeks had skits, original music, big interviews, reviews of games NO ONE else would have touched at that time. I have _never_ listened to or viewed any games podcast regularly other than his shows.
Would that this stinking hobby had more Steve Weeks and less of these me-too armchair broadcasters/reviewers/podcasters/etc...

The feather ruffling was generally with Derk...but those are really tame compared to today's internet troll standards.

@Barnes I agree...hahaha but it seems we are in the minority. Let's face it I am the Mozart of podcasting and Tom is Saleri.
