Tabletop Botches the Rules!

@mleacock What do you think about Tabletop screwing up the rules to Forbidden Desert? They earn over a mil for the show and botch the rules!

@stevebuzzer They're juggling a huge number of things--all at once on that set. I was happy they had a great time & brought it to new people.

Bless their hearts, juggling those things on the set after cashing their million dollar check. Maybe they need a nap between games? Scott Nicholson used to take nap breaks with a teletubby after drinking some mint tea.

I must say Leacock's response is the expected political correct response especially since he has had 3 games on tabletop and no doubt was happy with the "Wheaton Bump"

Or maybe, just maybe, he is being a reasonable human being that understands that making mistakes is a pretty typical thing. His respone seemed more polite towards you than it did concerning the matter you spoke of.

For someone who thinks such a format is killing the hobby, you sure do put such a format up to a high standard. You strain so much to prove your point "oh muh gawd, did you see that everybody? I'm right! Evil is at hand and now our games shall spontaneously combust!" and the only person who beleives it is you.

Don't stop beleivin'. Keep on truckin'. Etc.

That link, Weeks, you do realise the guy is apologising right? That's just water for gremlins where you are concerned, I guess. he apologised and yet still you run with it.

Go ahead, kickstart dice lounge, lets see how far you get.

I'm not sure, but I believe that Mr. Weeks was parodying That Other Site with his post.

I watched Tabletop for the first time today. It was the episode where he play X-wing miniatures with Seth Green, Clare Grant, his wife , and the only person I could stand, someone who "shoutcasted" an online video game of some sort but was actually smart and amusing.

Seth Green and Clare Grant seemed uncomfortable and out of place. Whil kept going for the low-hanging fruit when it came to jokes. Everything was overproduced. Annoying screen graphics. At one point Whil loudly demanded another scoring circle or some other game part, and I wasn't sure if he was pretending to be a diva or being a diva. Maybe it got better--but I turned it off after a few minutes because it hurt. It totally failed at distracting me from grading some really terrible student essays. I say this as someone who is not cool and will never be cool.
