The hall was considerably more crowded this year, especially on Thursday. The early-access line alone must have had 1500 people in it (I barely got my copy of Mysterium). As one of my acquaintances said, if it gets much bigger, the Fire Marshall may have to get involved.
Outside of the exhibit hall, though, it's fine. The funny bit was I thought the board gaming area was actually less crowded this year. So long as you're not gunning for one of those 100 copies of some game they air-shipped in, you don't need to wait in that mess.
Same here. We arrived at the Exhibit Hall at 11:00 a.m. and completely missed this nerd herd! Some hot games got gobbled up... Oh well.
Still came home having one hell of a time and an arm load of games. I also snagged a raffle win at the Secret Cabal Podcast meet up!
I had a great time. My favorite thing was the Concert Against Humanity. I hope they do it again, although they really should have cut the hour of filler.
