Well, you could call it an easter egg instead of secret if you prefer. Either way, I'd think it desirable that it doesn't appear to users at all, just to staff.

I think this will take care of itself as for the first few weeks we were working on the site, we used the "Staff" forum very heavily. If yesterday's pace is any indication, these new threads are going to blow away our 'secret' ones in no time flat.

For sure! I only registered yesterday and membership has doubled. Once you start adding new articles, you'll be getting numerous comments and the Popular 5 should be a good snapshot of the pick of the month.

There's one or two teething troubles, as you'd expect, but overall I'm very impressed with the design. I don't think I'd like to read it for hours at a time, but it's very stylish.
