Sounds good. I've never played the board game, but I've always wanted to. If I could go back in time I would my younger self and best friend to go in on buying Warhammer Quest over Epic 40k. Ugh, Epic was a total waste.

Well, I just hope they include actual rolling of dice in the interface. The unofficial PC version of HeroQuest is fucking boring, because everything happens so suddenly; you click a button, see the results, and are informed that you win or lose.

I don't think I've ever really been excited to play an ios game, but this one I am. I hope it works/plays well on phones.

I cannot wait for this. I wish Rodeo Games got the Space Hulk license, too.
Regarding dice, I don't expect we'll see them rolling; WQ is based off the Hunters 2 engine, and in that, all RNGs take place under the hood. But I don't think this will be an issue, since the figures are animated and there are impact/miss graphics so it always feels like something's happening.

This is actually an instance where DLC/IAPs are acceptable. I'm totally willing to buy the game in pieces, with modules, figures, and expansions to come. I would hope, however, that they would do a season pass sort of deal. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Don't tell them, but if the game is as great as it appears to be, I'd pay $50 for it.

Ace Patrol is great, and makes me wish that FFG might have the digital rights for X-Wing and actually make it for iOS.
