Not compatible with iPad1. So it'd make the purchase price for me something in the region of £300, a bit steep for a board game. Boo.

In other words, it would be about the same price as buying the cardboard version.

Are Eclipse, Ascension, Summoner Wars, Nightfall, Agricola, Titan all compatible with iPad 1? I know Neuroshima Hex is.

Then yeah, I wouldn't upgrade your iPad just for WHQ. I have an iPod Touch 1st gen, you can't get jack for that anymore.

Apparently WHQ has been submitted to the app store. Still no word on release date.

Is it just me who's disappointed that the die-rolls will be hidden and automated?

Rodeo is being super-coy about it. "A couple of weeks" is the current company line.

I'm glad they're not showing the dice rolls. Rodeo knows how to use the medium properly to express results without wasting time or screen space on things the computer can handle. Anyone who's played Hunters 2 already has a taste of what it'll be like, since it's basically the same mechanic.
