I think it's worth playing, but only if you've got a group of friends to venture with. Jus wondering if anyone had a chance to try it out this weekend and what your thoughts were. Seems like a nice mmo-lite without the monthly sub in a nice sci-fi universe.

Yeah, I played for a couple of hours this weekend. I was real lukewarm on the game before the alpha, but after playing it, I think it'll be pretty fun.
It's a nice looking game. I mostly play FPS on PC, but for this kind of game, which is a lot of PvE and has RPG elements, console will be fine. Plus, it's nice to kick back on the couch in front of the big screen.
One thing I hope they do is rein in the amount of garbage gear you get. This seemed pretty good during the alpha - when you got a drop, it was kind of a big deal, and I liked that. I hate loot games where you spend 25% of your time just managing worthless shit that fills up your inventory.

I can see that. I'd have a hard time telling which I liked more until the full release of Destiny. That said, the Borderlands Pre-Sequel isn't coming to current gen, so It'll probably be the closest we get for a while.
