Computer Games was created by Schweig!
Alright, so I'm going to write four important tests in the next three weeks, and once again it was time for me to grow a computer addiction. Here's what I played:

Brothers in Arms 1+2
Thief 3
Panzers
Masters of Orion 2
Silent Storm
Celtic Tales: Balor of the Evil Eye

How about you?

Dang, and I thought I still played some old games.

I've been playing Neverwinter Nights 1, Icewind Dale 2, Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, and Civilization IV (okay, that one's not that old).

I played that too and burned out pretty fast, because my out-maxed three character party gained levels too fast and turned evil from early-mid game onwards :-(

Currently I'm playing Victoria: Revolutions! with the Victoria improvement project mod. Very interesting game that has taken me awhile to get good, but I think I'm finally understanding how to play. Damn if it isn't a lot of fun though. Taking a backward nation and creating an economic, military and imperialist juggernaut!

Actually, I've been trying to load Medieval:Total War on the new PC with ::cough::vista::cough:: and have had no luck getting the campaign map to load. It always crashes. I've tried about every trick in the book that I've found online, and it seems that there's a combination of issues with my newer nVidia card and the game. If I went back to a slower card, from what I've read, the game ought to work.

I've recently discovered the goodness of XCOMUTIL and have gone through the original X-Com again.

Other games I still play occasionally include CIV IV and MOO II. I have GalCivII, but it just hasn't displaced MOOII from my heart.

ZDoom is great, too. It's hard to beat that adrenaline-pumping experience.

I'm waiting for Matrix Games conversion of the Lock N Load system to PC. It looks like we might finally get a playable traditional war game with good graphics!

My computer gaming has been 90% Team Fortress 2 for the last month, with a smattering of Pro Evolution Commieball (Soccer) 6.

The Computer games I play are pretty old I play(ed) actively:

- Diablo 2: Got kinda boring after I got all items I could ever want.
- Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory: Great free game.
- Civ series: Long hot-seat games with my gf.
- Heroes of Might and Magic: same as civ games.
- Then I play ABOUT ANY old school point and click adventure style games I just absolutely love them: Monkey Island series, Broken Sword, Gabriel Knight, Loom, Maniac Mansion, Indiana Jones, Sam & Max, The Dig, and lotsa others (mostly point and click) I played some of the Sierra ones but most of them just annoyed me. (they aren't point and click as well)

Three people still playing MOO2. That's pretty impressive. I haven't played for ages, but it was probably my favorite game around the time it was released. Will I have any problems running it under Windows XP?

Anyone try Space Empires IV or Space Empires V? They're customizable out the whazoo -- I've downloaded mods that change the ship graphics to everything from Star Wars through Babylon 5 and dozens of Sci-Fi universes in between. You can build Dyson Spheres! SE V is the latest version, but I still prefer SEIV because they decided to change tactical combat to real-time in V.

Titan Quest. You click on monsters and they dispense prizes. Shockingly addictive.

I've also been playing a little Fantasy General here and there. And that damn Space Hulk thing.

I don't think so. I've been playing under XP with no problems.

What I have played off and on for the past couple of weeks:

Dungeon Lords - Collector's Edition
Night Watch - or as my wife likes to call it, "You know what happened? KISS MY ASS is what happened!"
Warlords IV - Turn based goodness. Fear - 5 + Vampirism - 5 = Totally unstoppable.
Neverwinter Nights - Finished the first quest and Shadows of Undrentide, took a break from Hordes.
Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader - Diablo meets the Fallout perk system. Beaten the game three times and the third time put me off of it for good.

Thinking about putting back on Bender to play:

Throne of Darkness - Diablo in Japan.
Titan Quest.
Dungeon Siege - Just so I can play it to say, "Oh, THAT'S why I don't play this anymore."
Galactic Civilizations II
GORE
