UFO:ET looks like one of the more-true-to-the-source games based on X-com, I've been wanting to try it out.

Man, five pages of posts and no mention of Defcon ?

You guys are missin' out. That game's totally right up any Ameritrasher's alley.

I'm currently playing Fallout and Fallout 2. It doesn't get much more Ameritrash in an RPG! You've got a nuclear apocalypse, mutants, robots, cars, guns, grenades, explosions, gruesome deaths, drugs and women. So awesome.

Also apparently you can get Fallout 1 for free at gametap.com
