I am hopelessly addicted to Star Command

Wow. I haven't been this engaged with a game in a long time.

I was playing Starbase Orion, a turn-based 4X sort of like Space Empires 4 for PC (my fave), and I finally had enough. I'd played it too much, too often, and for too long. I'm burnt out on it. So, I went looking for something else to do whilst sitting in the gazebo, drinking Fireball, and I remembered this title. So, 2.99$ later, I started it up and literally played it for 4 hours. Then I took care of the kids, dinner, cleanup, etc, and went back at it. My wife erupts from the slider door and says, "you coming to bed? It's 4:15!".

Wow. That never happens.
