Metalface just sent this to me, so credit to him.

Cubicle 7 is a fantastic fit for this setting.

Someone mentioned today that the FFG/GW split is working out alright....

"Takes direction from 1st and 2nd edition" Does that mean percentiles, or just more more grim and less heroic than FFGs version?

I would assume percentiles are in for sure.

Cubicle 7 makes two awesome games in fantasy pseudo-european settings in The One Ring and Lone Wolf. They'd do a killer WFRP.

However....now that I say that...I wonder if they (Cubicle 7) wouldn't mind branching out themselves and would consider a more AoS flavored game. GW is certainly inserting some grimm into their new setting with Hammerhal and Shadespire. Maybe it'll work?

Really kind of smart that it is an Old World setting...I think it is pretty important for them to keep it alive in other forms that aren't one of their tentpole wargame brands. It keeps the history there, and allows that setting to continue. It is also more RPG-friendly than AOS, I think.
