I have Rock Band for PS2 and it hasn't locked up a single time. Played through Hard Solo Career, most of a co-op career on Expert, and I'm halfway through a solo career on Expert. No problems to speak of.

It's great, Uba. You should totally give it a go.

I also might have read it depends on which version of PS2 you have. If you have one of the older ones there might be a problem....But like most stuff there's a bell curve.

Yeah, I heard that about PS2 and GHII also...but I've got one of the fat old models and nary a problem with any of them. They had a demo of Rock the 80s set up on a thin one at Best Buy and that thing skipped and got out of synch like mad, so...who knows.

I guess it's karma...for the three shitty PS1 systems I had. Man, what a dog of an engineering job they must've done on that one. I think even the one I have now were I to hook it up I'd have to sit it sideways so the cinemas don't skip.

I think I got my PS2 in 2002? So maybe I've been lucky, I don't know.

All this is beside the point. Uba, you'll buy this for your kid but get hooked on it yourself...I promise you.

We got it for her. She does kick all the grown-up's butts when on drums, but the best was watching her belt out Mississippi Queen. My sides still hurt from laughing.

Whenever my kids have their friends over, they beg my wife to sing 'Juke Box Hero'. Or perhaps I should say, shout 'Juke Box Hero'. I need to put her on YouTube.

Actually, it's funny because she nails it, but has no idea what she is singing.

They made me sing "Should I Stay or Should I Go." Sounds like your wife and I could shout a duet together.

Singing is one of the best parts of Rock Band.

Without a doubt.

I like to sing the Metallica stuff.

Creep by Radiohead is great as well, since I actually know the words to that one.
