Christopher Hitchens RIP

There's only been three "famous people" whose deaths have ever made me feel genuine emotional pain.

Vonnegut
Carlin
Hitchens

He isn't "in a better place" or "at peace" he's just gone, and that's too bad.

Edit: don't take that last line as a swipe at the Cyanide and Happiness post

Yeah, not a swipe. The world took a loss with Hitchens death.

Yes, sorry about the RIP. Wasn't thinking.

Add Sagan to the list...

Oh, I wasn't taking a shot at that either. Didn't even notice, it was just me sharing my view on it.

My list:
Asimov
Douglas Adams
Hitchens

And Pratchett isn't too well either. Also, Attenborough. :(

(+1 for Carl Sagan, I wasn't aware of him before he died.)

I'm a little confused here - what links Hitchens to all the SciFi authors?

Asimov's "I, Robot" and Hitchens' defence of the War in Iraq require similar suspension of disbelief?
