I stand in awe! Didcot Game Club is in serious need of your talents!

Well, before we all wind up giving me too much credit, I should point out that I did not start the group. In fact, it was started by two women. So that helps. AND my two Thursday Night Event Co-Hosts are also both women.

So...... I guess that's a lot of women in leadership. I'm definitely getting a lot of help. ; )

Too right. The "gateway" concept is one of the biggest myths ever sold to the sheep over at BGG. It's never once survived real-world testing, though.

And yet people on BGG and Opinionated Gamers insist its gonna happen.

I have to disagree with this. Looks get guys with no personality laid, but GAME can get anyone laid. I've seen too many average to fugly dudes with mad game get laid faster than really attractive guys whose idea of heavy conversation is about which mousse makes their faux-hawk stand taller.

Seriously, you underestimate women.

Pete and I are sales guys, so we have a different perspective, perhaps.

To Pete's Point: I'm no Brad Pitt... (maybe a 7 on a 1-10 scale) plus I'm married anyway. But I have been told I have a certain "factor" not easily defined, where women feel drawn to me. Their words, not mine. Plus, I've been told I'm very funny and witty in person.

Women like that.

(And some of you here might then suggest that these women have no idea of what they are talking about.)

Ya know, I have found that salespeople are some of the most ethical and most helpful people I have ever met. I always treat salespeople with high respect when they request to visit with me. And more often than not, I get taken care of much. much better than the average joe.

Just something to think about for those quick to judge.

Not me. I was 180 pound cut up, muscular rugby player with deep blue eyes and a roll of quarters in my pocket. And I used to be able to talk a girl into doing some of the most self-defiling sex acts known to man, and WANT them.

But I did that for a year, found my wife, and never thought about another woman again. Got soggy. Had kids.

I need to go cry now. Thanks, Ryan.

Superfly is the poster boy of why this site can't take off and become a major boardgame site. Superfly and others here are grown men who are stuck in middle school.

Superfly is a true vulgar example of the downward spiral of civilization. When even his own Mom defriends him on Facebook, you know there is a problem.

I like to start my morning reading Facebook , enjoying friends photos and then you have a Supefly post talking about vomiting oatmeal and slinging "F" words around, and posting Huffington Post articles. No Thanks.

As for the Superfly Circus, I got one word for you, WHEATON!!!

LOL. You made my day. When Tom Vasel invites you onto his show and you belittle him, it's at that precise moment that you lose all credibility when it comes to being a moral authority on class.

I actually still can't work out if you guys all love each other and are just continuing some kind of prolonged in joke or if you actually do detest each other.
