I loved GUTS! Like a fancy version of green army men.

As a read this thread, I can't help but wipe away a tear from missing Mr Skeletor.

Who remembers Super Naturals? The action figures with holograms in their chests!
MASK rocked! I had the semi that had the rocket launcher in the back, it broke off and then I ran around the house shooting my younger sister.

What were the name of those little action figure dudes that came with a zipline that you hooked up to things and the action figure rode down?

You mean Visionaries?

EDIT: I never knew Visionaries existed. There is a severe lack of holograms in toys these days.

I loved the Supernaturals. I had Burnheart and Skull -- also the snake dude too.

What about the bug people - Sectarus (or something). I think the zip lines were Sky Commanders.

Sectoids.

Ah, my friend had one or two of those Supernaturals, I guess I thought they were a part of the Visionaries line.

Sky Commandos! That's the ones.
Those dudes pissed me off, you got four foot of string and a weird hook thing and a strap what didn't really secure...I think I managed to find a proper zipline span twice in my life. Otherwise it was just a dude with a well endowed mustache and a huge ass backpack.

What about Army Ants? Never had any myself, but saw them in the store all the time.

I'm going to use this thread to get ideas for the new Worthpoint column I'm doing about 80s toys. Turned in the first two last week- Shogun Warriors and Jetfire. Next two will be MUSCLE and the Kenner Alien.

Another toy line I was digging was Crystar. Mixed well with my D&D toys (Warduke!).

And don't forget, their comic inspired Glenn Danzig...

Jesus christ... Crystar. I forgot about those... it's like a damn has burst in my mind, I can remember those toys so vividly now. Same with supernaturals, and army ants. I never had army ants but my cousins did, we played with them all the time, I remember you used to be able to take off and swap their butts. I don't know if that was intentional, but we did it and didn't feel dirty about it.
