At this point, beyond selling 1812: Invasion of Canada so that I can rebuy Columbia's War of 1812, I'm pretty much done buying boardgames. Not only is my small collection more than I need, but I know several folks with _plenty_ of games. Buying boardgames doesn't make sense for me anymore...in fact, I may look to shed a few more.
On top of that, this past year I've gotten back into 'lifestyle' games. BB, Mordheim, and recently DCC RPG. I'm loving it. It's making me want to revisit Man O War, Dark Future, Legends of the Old West, and get into Deadzone. In fact I almost bought one of these games last week.
HOWEVER...I _already_ have players that have bought in and love BB, Mordheim, and DCC RPG...so instead of introducing new games into the mix (something I was guilty of in decades past) and diluting the value of what we have....my resolution is to _NOT_ go in on some other game, but to limit my lifestyle gaming to only those three (yes, Casey will have to defend his championship BB title _this_ year).
If I buy anything, it'll likely be older GW models as I really like the older style. I think I'd rather have those bretonnian 'not Robin Hood' fellas for Mordheim instead of another board game.
