I need to do the verdigris on the copper roofs, I've got to do some gold detailing to pop out some of the details, have to finish all of the walls and gates...
The Wight King and Wraith irked me (as well as the Tomb Banshee) because they are older figures and they have those old style bases where they have texture AND part of the model on them. So to put the Wight King on a round base, I'd have to make him a foot. Ugh. So I just did those all square.

Painting (at least like what I did) is pretty simple, I just followed the vague guidelines on the box. Assembly took about 45 minutes.

Are you getting the Path of Glory book? It looks cool if you want to run a long term campaign.

We prefer Skirmish and Hinterlands. Low model count games. Or just grabbing a lot of models and playing a one-off AoS battleplan proper.
I bought the Mage Knight Artifacts 2 kit to use as the treasure tokens. They come prepainted, match our table well, and are nigh indestructible. Toss em in the box!
EDIT: they also serve WHQ as dungeon dressing and objective tokens.

Mr. White wrote: When the heck is Shadespire going to drop? This release seems to have flown against GW's SOP of recent years. Usually when a game is mentioned it's released that weekend...
Sam from the Dicetower did an interview with the designers and they said they're going to be demoing it at Gen Con and some other convention just afterwards. You'd have thought that would mean it's almost ready for release. I seem to dimly remember an original release date of the end of 2017 though, but I could well be remembering that wrong.

I attribute this to the new 40K edition though. I'm sure they wanted all hype and sales on that.
EDIT: not complaining here...I don't need more board games to buy...just an observation.
