Yes, this is a Kickstarter. No, Hyacinth Games does not have a sterling track record with Kickstarter delivery schedules. So, why am I posting this? Allow me to explain:
1. Wreckage is my second-favorite miniatures game, second only to Wastelands: Total Meltdown, and only then because of its ridiculously good campaign system. If you exclude the campaign, Wreckage wins.
2. I love the game so much, I wrote almost the entire front end of the book from scratch based on a really horrible rules outline that they had planned to publish. For free, no freebies, no money, and only a minor footnote of thanks in the credits. That last bit actually stung.
3. The sculpting is mostly incredible, and these new models are actually better than I could've expected from their already awesome models' example.
Now for the part I don't care to admit, but must in fairness:
1. I don't like vehicles in skirmish games. At all. I refuse to play with them. Most of the rules suck, they're an extraneous bit of shit I need to remember and that I don't think adds to to games. If I want to play a skirmish that includes vehicles, I'll play X-Wing, Armada, Car Wars, Dark Future, Outrider, or any number of games that are SOLELY that. Shit, I'd take Rush n' Crush over a miniatures squad-based or list-based game that's been tainted by vehicles.
2. I haven't read the rules at all for this expansion. I don't intend to, as shown above.
SO...WHY DID I POST THIS?
Because they have Rules 2.0 out now. They streamline a ton of shit that was already streamlined, and the quick start rules are free if you want to play the game's basic version without the RPG stuff and without the major list-building stuff. Worth trying. I just wanted to elevate them in your minds if you're looking for a miniatures game.

Those road sections look cool. Here's the link for the quickstart rules:

The price killed any hopes, and I got my roads from a guy in UK on eBay...Fat Stan or something. 30 quid for double the amount of roads, and painted rubber.
