This art video is both awesome and appalling

Check this video out. If you love miniatures, you may find it amazing, horrible or possibly both. Either way, it's probably NSFW:

I'd like to go and see that. Jake and Dino Chapman are the current stars of British art like Tracy Enim and Damien Hirst were before them. I am never sure what to make of their work. They are undoubtedly very talented. The trouble is they do seem to create work to shock and provoke instead of going for real meaning. The same can be said of almost all British conteporary art. Their work often has a kind of sick sense of humour to it.

What they do is pretty cool. At the summer exhibition last year they were drawing on bank notes that members of the public gave to them without charge - defacing bank notes is a crime in the UK. It was an interesting statement about art and money.

Awesome. I would love to see that scenerio in person. The skeletons walking through the water was fantastic.

Interesting, very macabre. Although I couldnt help but chuckle at the nazi zombie driving the little red nazi staff car at the train scene, he seemed a bit comically out of place. Although it did add to the strange nature of the whole piece.

Sort of reminded me of that Halo commercial, only alot darker.
