Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
Where else do you defecate on the internet?
Gaming: here, Der Geek, and CSW (from time to time), and vassalengine.org
Music: Panicfreaks.org (F:AT Friday Freakouts can't come *close* to "Mid-week Meltdowns" following a good weekend run of concerts somewhere. Exstacy is a major drug of choice on the jamband scene these days and it usually takes 2-3 days for the complete serotonin-depletion hangover to hit. Guaranteed after a big Panic, Phish, Mule, Allmans, or Dead-family multi-show run somewhere, you'll get some sort of huge board freakout as a pile of board regulars start taking every single comment as a personal attack. Lots of tears, nastiness, and, at times, nudity as folks start posting pictures of each other after post-show hookups. Fortunately, Widespread Panic's fanbase still skews toward southern college kids rather than Phish's more Wookie-heavy crowd.)
Sports: Broadstreethockey.com [though I'm coming to *hate* all the advanced metrics geeks. It's like all my favorite sports sites have been overrun by the Puerto Rico/Alea Worldwide Fan Club.] and Bloodyelbow.com
Videogames: Matrix, Slitherine, and Paradox Interactive's sites.
After that, I read a pretty fair number of forums--particularly foodie sites--but generally don't ever see a need to post anything.

As I watched the transition from what was essentially an upscaled version of ARPAnet to the Web, I honestly didn't believe it would ever be more than a giant porn [Hey, no more downloading completely unknown files from usenet! Yay!] and multiplayer gaming [my circle were inveterate MUDders in the late 80s/early 90s, so we did have some sense of the potential for MMORPG gaming], and a highly portable version of the Home Shopping Network. I was clearly wrong...but I'm still not all that convinced it was by much.
Parenthood has the same effect. Like a cheap wine, you only get older, not better, with ageJonJacob wrote: For years I had no computer and didn't even know what happened on line. I was smarter, more well rounded, read and created more.

It's fiendishly difficult to navigate and, although you can search, its not easy to work out what to do.
On the other hand, you two may just be morons, I know, for a fact, one of you is......

Well, more of a indexing site for things I am looking to buy. Say I am looking for a particular item. I'll search and find a bunch of items for sale. I'll pin the one site that would have it. Like a wish list or "to buy" list.

Look you can try to make fun of my glorious goatee from that desolate but apparently style conscious wasteland in which you live but I'll be god-damned if I'm going to let you call Duke of Chutney a moron! Fie upon you, sirrah!

I post stuff to Facebook of course, and I'm on Twitter but I rarely tweet. I kind of can't stand reddit, so I never go there.
You'll find me sometimes on FM Base a Football Manager site as well as the official forums as metalface13.
Pocket Tactics: Infrequently, but post as metalface13 as well.
Soccer sites: American Soccer Now, Soccer By Ives and whenever ESPN.com does it's live chats called the Boot Room. I just post as Casey at all those places though.
