Mixed feelings. Returning to my tenured position in Utah. Leaving a lot (for us) of money on the table.

I just sold/traded:

Hey! That's My Fish!
Commands and Colors: Ancients, with card holders, plano boxes, and valley dice. Traded for a thick art book of Yoshitaka Amano that my daughter will get for her birthday.
Coloretto
Lord of the Rings: Confrontation
Incan Gold: just threw it in for free
Tigris and Euphrates
Daytona 500. My copy was beat up, but this one hurt because my family loves the game.

I sold them all pretty cheaply, because I can't afford to ship them home and they are going to gamers who would have to pay a fortune to have them shipped over. It will be interesting to see which ones I end up repurchasing. I guess I probably could have kept the tiny games. Maybe this is just an excuse to slowly phase out of the hobby (collecting games) and return to the other hobby--playing games.

Did you get a chance to play DoA II?

I traded Race for the Galaxy and its first three expansions in exchange for Duel of Ages II. I have a second copy of RftG.

Traded Agricola for Merchant of Venus. Now wondering how I'm going to organize MoV?

Out: Arkham Horror: King in Yellow Expansion and The Omega Virus
In: Eldritch Horror

The damn Omega Virus box is 23" x 15" and it took me almost an hour to cut a box down to fit it. I've cut and custom fit a lot of boxes to fit large board games for shipping and this one may have been the worst.

Out: Android: Netrunner "Masque" playmat
In: Big City (my old copy that I sold), 51st State and The New Era

The Masque art is available in FFG's print on demand playmats if I want it again, and I can't be bothered about rarity. Big City is a simple game but I love the way the board looks at the end. Other two were throw-ins because the friend I traded with wanted to be rid of them.

Lord of the Rings (This is my second time owning this one.)
Ingenious (The plastic tiles one.)

Obviously the Knizia-bleating by Barnes and San and dragonstout and the rest of y'all infiltrated my brain. I've picked up LotR, Ingenious, Ra, and Samurai in the last few months. And I'm probably going to grab the copy of Taj Mahal that's been sitting on my FLGS' shelf forever.
.

That's too funny. I did the same. But I haven't been around in awhile so it was without their influence. I just ordered it through the BGG marketplace:

Items Purchased:
Item: Lord of the Rings
Price per Item: $12
Quantity: 1
Condition: Very Good
Notes: Condition: Everything in great shape, all components accounted for. Game was played a once or twice only. This is the original edition

(2nd time owning it too - got rid of the original about six years ago). Funny how your gaming tastes (d)evolve.

Yeah, I played it a few times. Only one other guy in my group was into it, and it's not a good game for two players. Also, we agreed that as much as we liked it, there was just way too much shit going on.

I just traded away the copy of Civilization(AH 2nd) that I bought from Barnes for a copy of of Republic of Rome(AH 1st).

I only traded it away as I got a shrink copy of CIv in an ebay win of Civ and Advanced Civ last year.

This helps my hunt for growing my AH collection.

I'm completing this one tomorrow at Geekway.

Out: Space Alert plus New Era expansion

In: Rune Wars first edition with Banners of War expansion

Space Alert was well loved for years, but we haven't touched in a very long time. Excited to get Rune Wars and those gorgeous mountains to the table.
