Not super interested in Ghal Mraz (I have an...electronic backup...) but I wouldn't refuse it as I do like print books for this stuff.

Shadows of Malice is VERY soloable if that matters to you. Duel of Ages you can play by yourself but it's definitely not made for that.

SoM only plays to 4 players. DoA2 is kind of limitless.

Both are kind of old school with some innovations.

DoA2 is basically a tactical wargame with some adventure game elements in the mix. SoM is a co-op adventure game with some VERY innovative, VERY interesting things going on it.

DoA2 will probably never be in print again. SoM probably will.

DoA2 is more expensive than SoM. Mainly because that Master Set is HEEEEUGE.

Of the two, I actually think SoM is more playable and accessible. DoA2 is kind of overwhelming to new players, and it has some weirdness to it like how games may not have a fixed end- you just play to a certain time or whatever.

Both games had a berth in my GOTY rankings for 2013 and 2015, respectively. I think they're both awesome. If I had to choose one to buy, I think it'd be SoM just because it is more unusual, not like anything else out there, and it may be the best replacement for Magic Realm that has ever been released.

Does $60 credit for the Khornepile sound fair? I don't care about the CW box at all, you can ditch it and put everything in a padded envelope, that's fine with me.

I thought about it some more and I still think I am going to have to pass. Your $60 in credit seems fair to me, I just would rather have Blood Bowl and depending on what the premium Start Collecting boxes are that arrive in December, I might be picking one of those up as well.

I'll sell you all the minis for $40 shipped if you want to just outright purchase them.

You want to throw in the book and trade it straight up for Shadows?
