FS: Blood Royale (price drop)

I've come to the realization that I will never get BLOOD ROYALE to the table. But I bet you could.

I have a copy in very good condition. Components are excellent, box is good with some shelf wear due to game's age. Vast majority of the original marriage certificates are included too. This wasn't played by me and maybe not very often by the previous owner either.

I'm based in Toronto, Canada, but willing to sell it for $50 total (that includes shipping to anywhere in Canada or U.S.).

I managed to play it once in about a dozen years and the main (only) reason is there not enough game in it to warrant the very long time it takes to play. Like many classic games from the 80s it had no competition for time but in the last 15 years there are literally hundreds of games with 'more game' that plays in 2 - 4 hours while longer playing games (TI3 and similar) are much better.
It was a great experience that one play but I doubt I'd spend the time doing it again if other games were available.

Blood Royale is fantastic and singular, there's really no other board game quite like it. It does take a long time, although it isn't hard to track where everything is, pack it up, and put it back out to be resumed later. It can also be played "endlessly" if you don't set a winning condition.

If you only ever play it twice, $45 is still a good price for the number of hours and stories you can get out of those two plays. But be prepared to print out more character sheets.
