Clearing the shelves

Hey guys, I posted some games on BGG marketplace and figured you should get the heads up too, as Last Night on Earth has already sold, so …

I'm selling off some board games and video games to clear some room of my shelves (maybe so I can get Runewars). I'm either done with these games, don't think they'll hit the table (Tide of Iron) or haven't been played in over a year (Arkham Horror).

Buyer pays shipping, probably $10-15 for the board games, and only $1-2 if you don't mind media mail for the video games.

I think those copies of DEADLY CREATURES and GHOST SQUAD are cursed or something...you really ought to take them to Gamestop...they usually give you $10 extra for bringing in two Wii games, and assuming you'd get $5-$10 for each, you could come out with $20-$30 toward one of those games you're looking for. Actually, I think they have a thing going now where you can trade a select game (including BORDERLANDS) and get something new like DA:O or AC2 for $20.

Hmmm ... I generally despise Gamestop and their evil ways ... but yes I can't unload Deadly Creatures for the life of me. I can't possibly understand why, um, because it is so good!

You've just got to know how to work Gamestop. If you go in there with your copy of DEADLY CREATURES, yeah, you're going to get like five bucks. If you go in there with three or four Wii games of that caliber, you might wind up with $50-$60 once you figure in any special sales or if you've got the Edge card. Still not as good as selling outright on Half.com (sometimes), but it's a good way to circulate your collection. And you do better with new stuff than old, obviously. If you took all four of those games you've got up for trade here, you'd probably do pretty good.

But REALLY, some F:ATtie needs to buy BORDERLANDS so I can have a partner...$40 is a steal.

It is a really good game. I just can't stand the idea of playing with Barnes, personally.
