It's time to clear the games I don't play off my shelves again. Let me know if you're interested in working out a deal.

Arena Maximus (Fantasy Flight) $5
Battle Fleet Mars (SPI, flatpack) $20
Cosmic Encounter (Fantasy Flight) $25
Domaine (Mayfair) $20
Hollow Earth Expedition RPG Lot (Core Book, Secrets of the Surface World Sourcebook, GM screen) $50
Zombi: The Earth Won't Hold the Dead RPG $5

I was all excited about Cosmic but it just hasn't done it for me. I can see that there's a great game there, but it just doesn't click with me given the circumstances of my gaming life right now. If I had come across the game at 14 and played the crap out of it with my friends like I did with A&A and Samurai Swords, I'd probably be holding onto it even if I didn't play it anymore (like I do with those games)

I originally had Acquire on my sell list too, but Barnes' 10 games you should all own column convinced me to give it another shot (I've only played it 2 player).

Oh yeah, trade possibilities, I'm interested in:

The Paranoia RPG
Lacuna Part 1 (Second Attempt) Rpg
Action Castle
pretty much anything from Victory Point Games- they all look cool, but I haven't tried anything yet.

Hollow Earth Expedition RPG? I thought you were on the verge of running a campaign. System/setting not work out?

And $25 is a great price to get a little "gamer cred" by buying a game from my list. That's less than half price, and about five dollars less than what the retail should have been on the game.

I can also vouch for DOMAINE, that's a cool game that will likely turn up in my upcoming "Ten Games That REAL Gamers Like Even Though No One Else Does".

Hopefully this list will have a companion piece "10 Games That FAKE Gamers Like Because Everyone Else Does."

That's a good idea. And I'll follow that one up with "Top Ten FAKE Gamers". Here's a preview:

1. Dan Daly (I mean, he's selling COSMIC!)

I'd like to nominate all the attendants of Averyfest for the reported zero drunkenness level at the event.

I'm not mad, boys. Just... disappointed.

Hey! I was operating on 3 hours of non-consecutive sleep! Throw alcohol in to the mix and someone's getting knocked the fuck out.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

So, in other words, you were having your "time of the month?" That's totally cool, ma'am. No need for a lady to explain herself to anyone.

Jack- we're still going ahead with doing more rpg stuff along with boardgames in our group, I just decided to use different rules than HEX.
