Yeah, you can play pretty much any VC game on an emulator...but they're still purchased, legal copies of the game. I think they're worth about half what I paid, maybe a dollar or two less.

Anyone who knows what most of those games are doesn't care that they're purchased and legal.

Why? MJ saved my Wii by trading me NSMB! I may even break down and get CAVE STORY and RONDO OF BLOOD since it's going to be sticking around after all...and it's actually hooked up.

LKS is definitely a PIKMIN style game...run around with a bunch of guys, throw them at tasks, they do tasks. Snore.

No, believe it or not, I never have. I've never seen a single moving image from the game. And CASTLEVANIA is my favorite series of all time! For shame.

I had that supposedly bad SNES port on an emulator, but it never ran quite right.

They really ought to do BLOODLINES on VC, that was a good one.

You really should play through it at least once, if only for the soundtrack. They did a really good job with the localized version, too. They had to dub the cutscenes, but the voice acting is horrendous, and it's all drenched in reverb so it has this totally authentic, shitty early CD-ROM game vibe to it. You'll probably also get a kick out of the fact that half of the sprites from SotN on were ripped straight out of that game.

Bloodlines was much better than it's given credit for now. I especially like army base level, where the skeletons are all wearing army helmets. It's one of those really early instances of self-parody in video games, where you can see the medium kind of coming into its own. Too bad they made Johnathan Morris such a bitch in that DS game.

EDIT: The new WiiWare Castlevania also has a cool remix of the Bloodlines first level tune, proving theory that every Castlevania game has at least one really badass song in it.

I'll give my endorsement for Prince of Chaos -- cool game that has enough detail to it least make it more interesting than the standard fare.
