I love this game and am only now realizing that I can once again access the SbW site at work - HUZZAH. I used to play with guys over at BGDF, but I can't get over there anymore at work, and besides, now I have you suckers to wail on.

This is probably one of the FEW games I feel confident enough to talk genuine smack about.

That said, if folks wanna learn, that's cool too! Gotta crawl before you can walk and be slaughtered by my grain seeking warriors!

I'll try to hold out for 5, but we'll roll whenever we can. I'd expect about a play a day during the week standard. More is great as are weekends, but I for one am pretty much leading a real life on Sat. and Sun.

I've never used SpielByWeb before, but would like to give it a try. I've played often (been a while though), so I'm a professional. Don't come begging for mercy, when you all go down in flames with your fancy churches and palaces.

What happens next? I just register and look for game 'FATTIES only'? Or do you give the ok first?

(Oh, and I'm living in Europe, btw, if that makes a difference for you guys. If time difference doesn't work for you, I'll make a pass.)

You found the game and joined it alright...so that is about all the confusion there could be. If there IS some small question that arises though feel free to ask! I play heaps of games at both SBW and MBW so know my way around a bit.

Awesome, guys! Glad to see some folks taking the challenge seriously!

I think I'll start with 4. If anyone else comes looking for a game in this tread, let me know and I'll start up another! Nothing wrong with several games going on at once in my book.

Oh, and it looks like we're in four different countries, so we'll just muddle through as best we can - no worries about time differences. It might take the better part of a month, but I much prefer playing folks I know than strangers I can't trash talk

Hopefully things click along nicely. I am around a lot thanks to kids...so outside of weekends it should be pretty quick on my end.

Hope this starts a bit more play online. Granted, online stuff is not quite as F:AT as preferred I suppose, but it beats hunting wankers

Good point raised above though...do we have a "online play" forum? Given the new restructure it seems an area that would be helpful in getting some play on!

Only one hour left, before I go home from work and haven't set a foot on the map yet! I'll try to check the game out later this evening, but can't promise. Junior has 39°C fever.

The "slow aussie" (who is really a displaced yank of 17 years) is really quite quick when faced with turns between 10am and 4pm than again from 10pm til midnight Sydney time...but will bow to community assumptions that the sun only shines on the Northern Hemisphere

Anyone know when we could (in principle) all be online? I will normally be online between 9AM-6PM Central European Time. US is I think, what, 5 hours behind? And Australia (Sydney) is 10 hours in front?

Anyway, when posting this it's 11:28 in Europe. So it should be 6:28 in the US (well, depending where you live, I know) and 21:28 in Sydney? Correct?
