Where can I find space ship minis to pimp out Eclipse

So, I was thinking of suping up my game of Eclipse by getting some space ship minis that don't totally suck.

The only thing I could find was a bag of flying saucers. And that won't really cut it as I'm going to need 48 smalls, 24 mediums, and 12 large ships to take the place of those in the game.

Anybody have any ideas where I could find such things at something approaching a decent price?

So: I've used these in the past:
www.ustoy.com/cgi-bin/u.sh/2.0/dept.htm?...Novelties&page=3&id=

The smaller ones are a kind of rubbery plastic that steadfastly resists attempts to paint them. Overall, they are about the size of the mediums.

The larger ones are even bigger than the large Eclipse minis. Conveniently, they are sculpts nearly identical to the old Silent Death minis.

And you can dig up copies of Silent Death:TNG pretty cheap sometimes which comes with 48 minis:

EM4 (UK) also markets sprues of the Silent Death minis seperately. Hard to find actually in stock.

Last reference would be the essential Star-Ranger.com Starship combat news.

Lots of links and references, including metal options.

And American Science and Surplus sells cheap bags of the ships from TSR's Buck Rogers in the 25th Century for $1-$2 per bag. There are three fairly small sculpts, which aren't all that detailed really, but without the overly blocky look of the Eclipse minis. (The three sculpts thing is the reason that there are 3 squadrons for each player in Battle Beyond Space. I just grabbed pieces from a box of bits to prototype.)

Not that I obsess on spaceship games at all:

Moofrank has some good suggestions.

FWIW, one of the handful of useful discussions on TOS that I read in '11 was one regarding this very question.

One user had used the E4 space ship set, and mixed and match them, including paint, to great effect -- they looked excellent. I'd check out the Eclipse forum there for details, if you can stomach a bit of time in that neighborhood

Thinking about raiding my collection of silent death miniatures. They seem to do the trick
