I went to put my Descent promo minis on Ebay when I discovered 2 of them are bent at the base. Does the hot water method work?

Just send the buyer photocopies of the miniatures.

Yes, hot water works (near boil) but I prefer a hair dryer...seems like you can control it better.

I recently used hot\boiling water to bend a mini. Got it bendy, then flash chilled it to hold the position. Works well.

I use a heat gun on low (basically a hair dryer with a tinier nozzle so more heat). For flash chilling I use ice water or a cookie sheet which has been in a freezer for bases.
