I thought I'd start a thread with links to useful guides to painting minis.

The very top of the list must be this fantastic guide (written by someone whose presence in F:AT forums is sorely missed): The Boardgamer's Guide to Painting Miniatures

Tom Hancock's article mentions the wonders of Future floor wax. Here is a ridiculously detailed article on that product: The Complete Future


Here is an excellent guide from BGG on the "dip" method: The DIP Method: A Step by Step Guide to Painting Miniatures . Check out the tips in the comments -- very useful stuff.
