Arkham Cardholder

I have decided to have a crack at making a cardholder to store all of my arkham horror cards - just one of the basic ones that fit in the box.
Brought some foamcore (called foamboard over here - I think it's the same stuff!) anyway my first question is what is the best thing to glue foamcore with? Will PVA work or do I need a gluegun?
Any other tips before I start?

Get a rotary cutter. Do not attempt to do any kind of precision long cuts in foamboard with a hobby knife.

This may be totally obvious, but if only if you've tried it both ways. The cutting mat helps too, it's not just a ripoff.

Glue I have no ideas about. All my foamcore stuff was either boards or inserts, so I made them self-locking and not glued.

PVA will work just fine. You can use wooden toothpicks to strengthen the joints as well if you want.

There are also some specialized foamcore cutters you can get. One will cut a 45 degree angle on both sides so you just have paper exposed at the joints. the other will cut the foamcore away but leave the paper so that paper will cover the exposed foam on the other piece.

I use a hobby knife (or my afore mentioned specialty cutters) but it has to be sharp and you want to use a metal straight edge to get it right. And I second the cutting mat.

I used a knife and steel ruler and it worked fine.
The toothpick idea is fantastic, I'll try it tonight.
