Also backed Empires of the Void. (I'm still none the wiser re Eclipse since avoiding the TOS forums because of the arrogant and snide put-downs to people asking what makes it distinctive. I'm also inclined to avoid it having noticed a fair number of Finnish members posting 'have you looked at Eclipse' in many other SF game threads; if they need a shill brigade to sell it...)

Backed Sentinels myself. The chance to get the whole lot for a "coffin-box" price [aka "still cheaper than an OCS game" ] was just too good to pass up.
Going to have to take a look at Armada as I *love* space mini games and I'm tired of trying to hunt down Silent Death minis...
Edit: Damn, missed out on Armada... Oh well. Someone will hate it and sell it on the BGG marketplace soon enough

The $50 shipping is reasonable for the Line for Life pledge; but it also applies to the $75 pledge, which is a one-off shipment which I strongly doubt costs that much.
Also, I find it distasteful that they first started the Line for Life pledge at $100, then increased it to $125, then again to $140. Clearly that's a successful marketing ploy for the OCD TOS crowd, but why should I be forced to pay 40% more simply because I discovered the project later than others? I think it's a terrible marketing ploy, it's a 'stick' approach. The stretch goals by contrast are a 'carrot' approach. The Line for Life pledges force people to make a quick decision in order to get early pledges at the expense of people like me who discover the project later.
I would have gone for the $75 pledge as that's a good offer. But since they included the three Line for Life pledges it gets compared to that, and suddenly it's not such a great deal. Then I look at the Line for Life price increases and resent having to pay more for exactly the same item. So Valley Games lose a sale. Also, because of the Kickstarter exclusives, I will never be able to own the whole game by buying it in the future. So they lose sales, not just of this, but also of future expansions. Finally, by using such a marketing ploy, I'd be more cautious about buying from Valley Games in the future. In short, the Line for Life policy gets them sales earlier, at the expense of later ones.
