Whoa, that Deadzone campaign is huge. They are not messing around, LOL: t-shirts, patches, terrain, dice upgrades, paint kits, and of course the game itself. So far I haven't backed anything that extensive yet, but it looks like you're getting your money's worth. Like you said: IF you actually play it though! But then that's the same with any KS campaign, I suppose.

Just backed the first expansion for Evolution, Evolution Flight.

If you haven't had a chance to play Evolution yet do yourself a favor and try it. I was totally blown away by it.

Lord of the dead - $8 for a cool looking microgame delivered via envelope. $9 for outside US. No ridiculous tiers. The only concern I really have is if it grows too big, but since the only tiers left are the game I don't know if that is going to happen.

Why would you print the rules on the back of the board? Huge mistake. Looks interesting though, like a lighter Psycho Raiders.

Barnes head is going to explode. A Requiem Vampire Knight board game, but it's a kickstarter!

Well, that's the second one...the first one failed, I think. It was a stupid-looking card game. This is- of course- a miniatures thing. There could be a really cool game in there somewhere. I mean, vampire biplanes and such.

Not the answer I was expecting. My Johnny Carson "Carnac" envelope had "Bah, if it's any good I may look at picking it up at retail, and I'd prefer cardboard standees rather than bubblegum machine miniatures" written down. :)

Ah good point I missed that somehow. Maybe he figures people will play on glass tables. Reading the comments he is very concerned about weight and postage so that's probably why, but I agree it's basically useless without photocopying or printing out the rules separately.

The art looks fantastic. But calling it a board game is a stretch. It's a bunch of square cards laid down.

The new Mare Nostrum kickstarter is live and I'm in. I've always wanted to track down the original Mare Nostrum + Expansion. I don't know that I really care if this Mare Nostrum is exactly what the original Mare Nostrum was, as long as this Mare Nostrum is as good.

I backed Evolution + Flight and Coup: Rebellion G54.

I played Evolution a couple months ago and thought it was pretty slick. Then I read the designer's thoughts and backstory when he was Geek of the Week a little bit ago, and it got me interested again. As for Coup, I was thinking of going to my store to pick up Coup one day, when i stumbled on the kickstarter for essentially the same game but with 5 times as many roles to pick and choose from. It seemed like a no-brainer if you like the game.

This was the second and third kickstarter that I've backed, with the first being Puzzle Strike: Shadows. I've either played the game or an earlier version of it in each of these cases.

Backed Defenders of the Last Stand. I'm a sucker for the Mad Max / Gamma World thing it has going on, and the narrative hooks added into the game make it feel like much less of a co-op puzzle though there's still a good chunk of DotR under the hood. The trash aesthetic also reminds me a little of Earth Reborn, which taps a lot of positive associations for me.

Also recently backed Project: Elite since real-time dice games are huge in my house and this one will play extremely well with my son's game group.

These two substantial hits to the wallet have made me reconsider my pledge for Assault on Doomrock, which hurts but I can only put so much down for games that I won't see for another year or more.

If you like Mad Max, I'm backing Salvation Road , which is a great co-op with a strong Mad Max vibe. I've played it a lot, since I know the designers, and it has replaced Pandemic as my favorite short co-op because the theme is awesome.

I passed on that one but will look into it once it hits retail and gets some reviews behind it. It reminded me a little too much of Dead of Winter without the traitor element, and I didn't enjoy Dead of Winter very much at all.
