I'm not a big fan of Dead of Winter, either. Beyond a post-apocalyptic theme, there's not much similar between the two for me.

Project Elite seems like a good game, but way overproduced/expensive for what it is.

Yeah, that one was admittedly a guilty indulgence. They presumably needed the 28mm scale to make it less likely to flail and knock the minis over. I just know my 12 year old and his buddies will lose their shit playing this. They request Escape all of the time.

Hate to jump in, but if you are looking for reviews of Salvation Road, here is a link to a bunch of them.

Went to back it and found out the $30 doesn't include shipping; that's $15 more. It's from Poland, so that probably is the real shipping cost, if not under it, but $45 on an unknown quantity is not for me. I have a hard time with $45 for something I know I want.

Game looks neat and I'd like to help them out but I just don't think the price is right.

I backed Mottanai without hesitation because I really like what Chudyk does with his games. Could be a miss, but I'm willing to take a chance.

Also backed Evolution, for which I'm already feeling guilty. I think I'll like the game, but it was an impulse buy and I'd been doing so well avoiding those this year.

I also went ahead and backed Defenders of the Last Stand. 8th Summit has come out and explicitly stated that this game will retail for $100 (or more). Getting it for $65 on Kickstarter seems like a good deal. I already like Defenders of the Realm and the combo of Mad Max n' Gamma World was too much to resist.

I backed Worthington Publishing Band of Brothers Kickstarter last night. Ever since I played it recently I've wanted to get my hands on Ghost Panzer. The new components look good.

Never thought I'd see mounted boards in a Band of Brothers game. I'm thinking of dropping Assault on Doomrock for this one.

I just received The Battle of Petersburg a book by Sean Chick. Sean one of my favorite war game reviewer and the designer of Hold the Line: Frederick's War.

I just backed Blue Rose The AGE Roleplaying Game of Romantic Fantasy. I'm buying this for my daughter who's into RPG.

This year is the 50th anniversary of Nuclear War. I played the hell out of this in college and as a in-between rpg sessions in the late 90's early 2000's. It still hits the table 2-3 times a year. I don't think I need to re-buy it, but I did back it for the new color card Population deck.

Thanks for the heads-up! We used to play Nuclear War all the time in high school and college. I'll probably throw them a few bucks just for nostalgia's sake.

Backed my 2nd kickstarter yesterday. Bought 3 core copies of EPIC CARD GAME by Robert Dougherty.

Decided to get it since each copy is enough for 4 people to draft. With 3 copies, you can make a Cube to draft. I got 3 buddies who I draft Magic with every 3 months or so and one of them flagged this for us. So I jumped in and US$70 split four ways isn't much at all.

Looking forward to it.
