I bet not one of those backers gives to charities that feed starving families. Because that wouldn't be a fucking ridiculous waste of money.

I was interested in Shadows Over Normandie until I saw that it would cost over $120 for a game that featured no miniatures. That seems insane to me, especially since I strongly suspect this game will show up on Amazon for $60.

Still, the game looks pretty cool.

The base game of Heroes of Normandie was $110 (w/ US shipping) for just the game, no extras. Seemed kind of ridiculous to me, although the game does look cool.

That is insanity. Amazon has it for $55. Has anyone played it? Not that I need another 2 player game I can't get to the table.

It has amazing artwork and looks neat, although there are a number of weird things about it. It's very fast paced and units are lost quite quickly, it doesn't play exactly as you'd expect. It can also be quite swingy with the card play.

There also are a number of typos and misprints on the counters, although I'm not quite sure what percentage were extras/kickstarter stretch units and what percentage of the misprints are in the base game counters.

I have not played this myself, just watched a game being played and talked to a couple people who have played it.

It's not a game (yet), but this Kickstarter is my pair of the cat's pajamas. I adore 1980s action figures, and I love old school Chaosium CoC. Peanut Butter and Chocolate!

I was interested in that, until I saw the price. No way am I paying that much for figures. Obviously I'm not their target market.

25$ per action figure, so that you can tack them to your wall as some sort of "display"? Hipster bullshit.

Now, what WOULD be awesome would be some Cthulhu "FatHeads", life-sized stickers for the walls in your game room.
