I've been buying boxes of biryani curry powder and trying whatever recipe is on the back. Mutton is tastier than the chicken. Also, I think I just melted my face off.

It wasn't that good this time around, then I realized I had left out the yogurt. It should be excellent after it has sat overnight.

Faces are overrated.

We got a big old pile of spinach and beet greens from the garden last week so we cooked up a pot of p'kailah.

PINTEREST HERE I COME!

Happily we received a bunch of premade meals that just needed reheating to make the immediate aftermath of baby brother's birth easier, so for awhile I hadn't been cooking as much as I usually do. Now that he's a month old and we're working into a routine, I'm busting out some comfort food to cope with winter (and in bigger quantities for easy-mode evenings of leftovers):

spicy turkey meatloaf
baked chicken spaghetti
sloppy joes
Guinness beef stew
black bean and sausage soup
mango curry chicken
big batch of meatballs for use in spaghetti, mini meatball sandwiches, etc
leek and pancetta pasta
