Watched Limitless (2011) last night, about a drug that really focuses the mind bringing out your full potential. Strong 7 of a film, pretty much moves as you expect it to do with a couple of nice flourishes.
watched YOU'VE GOT MAIL for the 2nd or 3rd time last night. I dunno what it is about that movie, all signs point to it being a lessor movie than Sleepless in Seattle, but for my money I just like it better. I absolutely love the ending. That Meg Ryan sure used to be cute and Tom Hanks is fun in those roles.
not movies as such, but atfer finishing "Broen" (The bridge to you lot), and while waiting to get förbrydelsen (The Killing to you lot, The Crime to us lot), I watched Spiral (Engrenages, or Gears as it would be literally).
Great french crime series, with a ridiculously hot redhead as a bitchy lawyer. Audrey Fleurot.
Highly recommended
PPS
I can highly recommend you get hold of the movie "Intouchable"
hey do you think the studio execs are super pissed at Kristen Stewart right now? I think she just single-handedly knocked ticket sales for the upcoming Twilight movie down a huge peg now. The dedicated fans won't identify with Bella anymore and will have trouble watching her and Edward together. I think it's a big deal for ticket sales.

What. The. Fuck.
I can gladly say I have no idea what you are talking about. God love you Barney, you are an enigma wrapped in a riddle, nestled in a box of tsunamis.
I so want to talk about this too and I figured people here might not follow. (for the record, I'm not a Twilight fan at all).
Ok so to appreciate the story (and what I want to talk about in terms of sales impact), you actually have to know the series a LITTLE bit. Which I'll assume everyone basically does.
Yeah so the Twilight movies are insanely popular making hundreds of millions of dollars even though they're not very good (the 3rd one was ok). The fact that Kristen Stewart (Bella) and Robert Pattison (Edward) are a real-life couple is like a perfect fairy tale which has helped boost popularity of the franchise and garner even more sales.
So Kristen Stewart messed around with the married director of that awful Snow White movie. The pics of it are actually kind of shocking in how public they were about it. (out in the open space doin' stuff). So Kristen knows she's made so she makes a public apology to her b/f.
This enrages the fan base since, in their minds, Edward (Pattison) is perfect and the object of their mass fantasy so to cheat on him is obscene, especialy with a married older man.
He said something cool like, "she only had to apologize to me and the director's wife. She didn't have to make the whole world know" or something like that. So he moved out yesterday to say the least.
I'm not a gossip and could care less of this stuff on your average day (like how Lohan got into another car accident a day or two ago, lol). But this is interesting only cuz it can DECIMATE ticket sales and I can't imagine what's going through the studio exec's heads who were already getting focked in the a$$ from an insane contract with the 3 main actors (I think it's like 25% million each and 2.5% EACH of ticket sales, which is crazy).
I'm anxious to see how many people see this movie. Can you imagine watching the two one screen together? It would be like watching Travolta kiss someone of the opposite sex. It would feel weird the entire time.
