I traded for A Game of Thrones and the first expansion. I've no idea if the new edition is better or worse, but trading got me rid of some games, something I still need to keep at.

Re: What boardgames have you been BUYING?

I picked up Kingdom Builder last night. I know it's supposed to be light and simple. I'm expecting it to be something I can use to get my kids into games that require more complex thinking, and also something I can break out on game night with the other couple we play with and still be able to have fun with it. We haven't played it yet, so the jury is still out.

I submitted a review on that one a while ago. We'll see if it makes it to the front page. It's a good game for what it is, an abstract Euro. It's helped a lot by how quick it plays.

I don't buy games these days because Christmas made me poor.

I didn't buy, but I just had the following land in my lap:

Pursuit!
Dogfight
Naval Battles

Naval Battles is relatively new and the cards are still in the cellophane. The other two are old titles but look to be in pretty good shape.

Would it kill you to put the complete game in the first box?

I got the kids the rest of the Heroica line, and Heroscape for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to digging into Heroscape.

I also know they will be receiving Survive!, which looks like great fun. I'm expecting to receive the Blood Country expansion for Nightfall.

OMG, I want Heroica so bad! I'm sure my kids would love it as well.
