Also a lot of Skip Bo, which is essentially a game I sometimes play with my in-laws (Spite and Malice).

Also picked up Sid Meier's Starships, but I haven't really done more than poke around a little with that.

Let us know how Starship is. I'll probably get it eventually but I'll have to clear out have my under sized iPad to load it.

The diplomacy screens worked just like they do in Civilization, so that made sense. There was a market screen where you could buy and sell different resources, but I never had any need to do so.
The majority of the game was turn-based starship combat. It was pretty fun, but mostly easy. I was playing on the Moderate difficulty level, but even missions where I was projected to have a "35% chance of success" seemed pretty easy. Maybe the AI just isn't very good?
I expect to play with it some more tonight, and I'll definitely delve into finding out what all the icons mean and what my options are. It was certainly easy to dive into and looked pretty great. I'd give it three out of five stars at this point.

And lastly the monsters that give one or two VP per card of whatever faction you have most of in play.
So you end up getting an almost endless turn.... 2900 pts takes a little while to play one turn. You defeat the monsters that give multiplier VP in center row, then in the void, then when they resurface in center row after you went through the entire 200 card deck, and in the void again. You will have maybe 150ish cards in play, a 3 cost monster can earn 50-60 pts. Every time you play an enlightened card, most which draw on their own, triggers you to draw 2 cards. The hardest part is making sure you always have cards in your deck to draw. Anyhow, it's pretty cheesy.... But fun..

She's probably triggered a recruitment algorithm just like in The Last Starfighter. Except instead of a cool alien alliance coming to task her, it'll be the Department of Agriculture.

Really fun top-down driving game, where you drive one vehicle to a destination, then another and another, all of which are occurring at the same time, so eventually you have to account for all of the other drivers that you've already played. Fun concept and the visual style is fantastic. Free to try and $2 to unlock the checkpoints.
