as for the Starks...
Warning: Spoiler!they're lucky that Jon is there because he'll keep the focus on what's important, what's North of the Wall. I don't think Sansa will concern herself too much with King's Landing or the Freys or anything. So who becomes Warden of the North? Is it Jon or Sansa? I'm worried that she cut a deal with Littlefinger promising him warden of the north or something but who knows.
I don't know what bran's story is going to be with his uncle. I imagine he'll go back to dream land and eventually find out who Jon really is or something.
Arya, like her older sister, has now fully grown into who she thinks she should be. Confidence and all that. I don't know if she'll make a beeline for Winterfell or go right to King's Landing.
and yeah, that battle sequence was great. I like how the music really led us to believe it was Jon's last moment. And good point on the luck part, you're totally right. The number of dudes that got killed by random horses and such while Jon was trying to fight everyone off.
Warden of the North is

I was a little disappointed with the ending... somehow, I was expecting an even worse fate for that person.
Anyway, I'm more looking forward to this week. The big battles are fun, but to me GoT is better when it's about the intrigue and political conflict (combined with some physical conflict), and more of that should be paying off in the season finale.

Would it be great if you could smash up your favorite shows? I can only imagine how amazing Twin Peaks + Arrested Development would be.

Someone mentioned if Hannibal was worth watching. I thought it was extremely gory and sadistic but the acting and characters were great. Preacher is really interesting to me. Never read the comic other than hearing the general idea from friends.
Daredevil season two is falling flat for me. Still entertaining but the writing has taken a tank job.
I'd mash Archer with The Wire. Sterling and McNulty feeding off each other's phrasings. Krieger and Freamon. Pam with Omar. Cheryl/Cherlene with any of Baltimore's finest.

Started watching Outcast yesterday, a Cinemax show that is surprisingly well done about a man who has found himself surrounding with demonic possession during his life. His mother was possessed when he was a child and later his wife.
It had a high rating on IMDB so I gave it a chance and it's pretty damn interesting.

Is Turn any good? My mother-in-law watches it but I haven't checked it out myself.
I finished watching The Night Manager last week. Great miniseries. Tom Hiddlestone and Hugh Laurie are great as ever. Olivia Colman is also really great in it, didn't even make me think about her role in Peep Show for a minute. Well, maybe for a second when I thought about how she didn't make me think about her character in Peep Show.
Need to see the latest Preacher, I've seen the first two. I'm enjoying it way more than the comic, which I had a really low opinion of. Dominic Cooper has a lot to do with my enjoyment of the show. The guy who plays Cassidy is rather charming as well. Tulip I still find a little annoying and cartoonish though. I like that the show is showing us Jesse trying to be a preacher and trying to help people. To me the comic he felt like some guy who just happened to be wearing a preacher's collar, it just never really made sense to me.

I don't have a problem with that except that it seems too simplistic. I would hate for the show to devolve into Men=Bad, Women=Good, especially when there have been plenty of examples of evil women so far.
I'm really looking forward to the finale this weekend. I never watch the previews, so I have no idea what to expect. Is it true that it's a double-length episode?

I hope we finally see inside the Tower of Joy in the finale, but I don't have my hopes up. Will we ever?
