I know! I wish I tried to get the license and did a board game on it. Probabaly couldn't afford the movie rights but the book rights are probably doable.

I loved Taylor Kitsch in Friday Night Lights but in the trailers the acting looked wooden. Does he give a good performance then?ZMan wrote: ...and it was really good. Very epic in places. Great landscape shots. Great work on the Tarks. Really brought back the wonder in watching movies.

ASL players are always 20 years behind everyone else.
EDIT: I found 1 copy of the SPI game for $97 on Ebay. Looks like I won't be playing the SPI John Carter game. Nothing on Noble Knight or T&T. There are some old Grenadier JC minis that look like they were molded in the style of Frazetta paintings on Ebay.

Had a sort of 'oldschool epic' vibe that movies just don't have these days. It was the kind of film the Star Wars Prequels should have been.

Yeah he is good. Character has more depth than is apparent on the trailers.

There's a lot of fighting but it's not gory, there's blood but it's mostly blue blood. There's some exposed skin but no real nudity.
