There is something so much more compelling about original artwork. It makes you wonder if things were better off years ago, when individual artists may or may not have had any idea what others were doing at the time. Room to be completely, unselfconciously, creative. No reference to others. Smaller world now.

My favorite of all time is the Polish poster for Weekend at Bernies:

I'm guessing in Soviet Poland the artist did not get to see this fine piece of film making.
