*slow clap*

I loved it. Well done Marvel Studios, well done.

Agreed. Very well done and they worked in a number of Easter egg references, one of them to Pulp Fiction to boot. I love that stuff.

But I'd rather hear some positive mention before you come in and shit all over it!

Not likely. This is by far the best Captain America story, and what I've seen of it looks AWESOME. Falcon looks great, the Winter Soldier looks great, Cap looks better than ever...it looks like they made a very serious espionage picture but with Marvel characters, which is exactly what it neneded to be.

Plus, I loved Avengers and have warmed up to the other Marvel pictures. I've got The Dark World sitting here, haven't watched it yet.

The first Cap movie was my favorite of the all the Marvel films (possibly the Avengers was better). I'm really pumped to see this one but I don't go to theaters anymore so I'll have to wait a few months. I'm glad people seem to be liking it though, that's great news.

I liked the first Cap movie and this looks like they've really ramped up the entertainment factor, now that it's not burdened with his origin story. Maybe I'll see if the wife wants to go tonight.

Michael: The Dark World didn't get the same level of positive reaction that Winter Soldier has, but I thought it was fun. I loved the climax, which was so wild in concept that it wouldn't have been out of place as the climax to an episode of Futurama.

I have to see Oculus first. Then I'll probably want to see this movie or Grand Budapest Hotel just so I don't have to think about Oculus anymore.

We, as a family, rarely go because of the expense and even though we get those workplace discount tickets, my oldest ends up using the majority of them.

My wife had set aside enough for the four of us so we went, the last outing together being The Avengers. This was on par with The Avengers in my opinion.

Black Widow had a lot more presence in this film to the delight of the oldest and her character was better developed (The Widow's not my daughter).

The Russo brothers did a fantastic job and a HUGE kudos to Kevin Feige's vision (his leadership not the android).

I never watch trailers so I was blown away by seeing

He was sooooo good, I want to see him back in films. There were also some great callbacks to the first film as well.

I'm buzzing just thinking about the film again.

I also really enjoyed this. It easily is amongst the best Marvel films. Especially since it doesn't feel like a Marvel one, but as an espionage/thriller that happens to be a Marvel film. I've never read any of the comics before, but I didn't have any trouble following it or getting lost in the mythos. Definitely want to see it again.

I saw it today.

Better than The Avengers. In the realm of modern Superhero films it is on par with Spiderman 2 as one of the best.

Black Widow is 1000 times more interesting in this than Avengers.

The Falcon was nicely done.

I agree with most if not all of the comments regarding the quality of this film. It was fantastic on all counts.

After the movie I got to read the graphic novel and I thought the movie was better.

Wow.

I saw the movie in Canada and it was interesting to see that there was no preview approval notice prior to showing a trailer.

EDIT: Oh and cool end scene!! I didn't think they could do something due to something else. Sorry don't want to spoil anything.
