hey, can I make a bold prediction that Mark Hamill will impress us for the first time ever outside of voicing a video game?

Hamill has come a long way since Ep6 so I think he could be pretty convincing as a no-longer-innocent and very-conflicted jedi knight. He's following up Hayden Christensen and a Lucas script so the bar is very low.

Alls I'll say is that I've seen really exciting SW trailers before. And I think I'm the only one who didn't want the old characters back.

Pure joy to see that, especially with Han and Chewie at the end. Wow. Of course, what ultimately matters is how well it all fits together, but the hope and anticipation couldn't be higher for me that this will at least be good. I'm trying not to have expectations beyond that... as long as it's a good, entertaining movie in that world and with that history and legacy, that will be enough.

Star Destroyers have repulsorlift generators, and can fly in atmosphere, it's not like it had to have come straight down from orbit.

Man, that was badass. I wish I didn't have to see anything else from now until I see it in the theater. I am 100% on board.

Also, if anyone else watched the live streaming of the panel at Celebration -- THAT was perfect. The love and care and respect for the story was evident from everyone. This makes me so happy.

Because it looks fucking cool as hell.

Apparently their armour doesn't stop rocks or spears either, my guess is its a fashion statement.

This is one of the main reasons i am pumped for StarWars. I think several members of the cast might be more interesting as geriatrics, both as actors but also as characters. If they do something interesting with them this could be a really interesting and unique film.
