Well, I don't care what anyone says. I still think it's a better use of my TV time than watching Howie Mandel and Howard Stern argue about the merits of a pie spinning unicycle act on Americas Got Talent.
I thought it kind of fell apart at the end. I had a tough time buying the Ani/Ray relationship. The writers stealing a page straight out of Michael Mann's Heat was kind of lame as well. But a lot of people are saying "better than American Ninja Warrior", and I agree with that.
Overall, I didn't love it, though it had interesting moments. I really hated the ending for Frank. Just desserts for a life of crime, I suppose, but still disappointing. And so bleak. Geez, even Ray's message didn't send,
