Who are the Funky Winkerbean fans up in this mofo?

I used to follow Funky Winkerbean when I lived in Buffalo and got the paper there regularly, but it's been years. I just looked it up and found out that they have aged the characters, including a substantial time jump at one point to try to catch them up to the present. I realize that some other strips have had characters age over time, but that's pretty rare.

Bloom County is the shit, though. I'm not sure that it's officially *back* with any regularity, but I sure hope so. Apparently, Donald Trump's candidacy was the inspiration for Berke Breathed to fire it up again. Presumably, Bill the Cat will run for Prez again in 2016.
