If they cast Shia Leboeuf as young Solo, limbs will be severed.

Harrison Ford probably signed away his digital image rights. They'll just digitize him in a younger form.

How about a "behind the music" biopic about The Max Rebo Band, including scenes where he and Sy Snootles exchange that "this is going to be our big hit" look after writing their song and then a long slide into despair and drug use after Sy Snootles is replaced by a screaming hamster at the order of their clueless manager. It could also touch on their rivalry with Fir'gin Dan and the Modal Nodes.

A couple of movies with nary a lightsaber or use of the Force in sight would be welcome. The Jedi are obviously a big part of SW, but they already get plenty of time to shine in the trilogies.

True, that scene in Last Crusade is awesome. But it's also just that, a scene that lasts about 10 minutes. A whole movie is a lot harder to pull off.

Well, there is that stand-alone heist movie coming out that's going to be all about the Rebels' mission to steal the first Death Star plans.

I felt that whole scene was the worst kind of pandering backsplanation, going through the IJ fetishes and checking them off one by one in a single scene.

We should definitely have more movies intended to remind 40 year old men of things they liked when they were 12.

man, that scene gave chills up my spine on how powerful Obi-Wan was. Never used his saber before in the movie. Obviously only breaks it out in emergencies. Seems to be the trump card of any confrontation....

...then the prequels came and sabers are being pulled out the second someone slams a door too hard.

Still, the magic of that Cantina scene... i adore that movie

Yeah, A New Hope really is my favorite Star Wars movie. I mean, I love the dark conclusion of Empire Strikes Back and I love Return of the Jedi for Jabba's palace, the introduction of the green lightsabre and the epic space battle, but ANH is the best. Mos Eisley, the cantina, that shot of Luke staring off into the twin sunset and the music score kicks in. Yeah ANH all the way. That's probably why I like Force Awakens so much.
