OMG that looks amazing! Did anyone else get shivers when Mon Mothra (or whatever her name is) is standing over the Rebel HQ table?? WOW. And how about that Grand Moff Tarkin shot with the cloak?!

PLEASE let us not have any jedi in this. We don't need them and they've been really ruining that whole thing as of late. I'll take a REALLY cool cameo from Vader but that's IT. I'm actually excited to see mouse droids again. How about that old skool Star Destroyer? Looks amazing.

and just to be that cynical g33k, I think casting Forest Whitaker is a mistake but we'll see.

that shot of the protagonist in the hall of the death star lighting up around her at the end is fantastic CLASSIC Star Wars art direction. What a beautiful shot. She's just screaming Rebel Operative there. wow.

When I heard they hired the cinematographer from Black Hawk Down for this, I was hoping it would have a war movie feel to it. Glad to see that's where it looks like this is going.

This must be the new trend to have all of the protagonists in these rebooted Star Wars movies be female only. It captures both the tween boy and girl market so they can sell more product tie-ins. It's the new Misandry.

That's an effective trailer. Beautifully shot, interesting new characters, and enough bits of nostalgia (Old-school Star Destroyers! AT-ATs! The Death Star being assembled!) to suck in the crusty, old bastards like myself. Goddammit. I'm sold.

Oh my fucking God. That looks AMAZING.

Don't even know where to start...the Death Star shadow, Mon Mothma, Donnie Yen...the shot worth the AT-ATs made me gasp.

I had it in my head that this was going to be about X-Wing pilots, this looks more like a Dirty Dozen type thing than what I expected.

It looks like it might satisfy those that wanted TFA to go in a different direction...but it still looks 100% like Star Wars. I agree with Josh, anyone that wants to get all Internet shitty about it can piss off.

Agreed. I expected this to be a bigger departure than it looks to be, which makes me glad. Star Wars should be Star Wars-y.

I'm not too sure about CGI Peter Cushing but I love the idea of Boba Fett actually being a badass bounty hunter and not just some sarlac kibble.
