Top 5 Movies With Bill Paxton In Them

The man's in everything.
(I wanted to get this in before the Shore movies...)

1) Aliens
2) Streets of Fire
3) The Terminator
4) Tombstone
5) Near Dark

lol, this is funny that we just did Arnold and the Aliens movies since there will be lots of splash with them.

1. Terminator (it's funny we're giving him credit as this is totally not a Bill Paxton movie)
2. Aliens (his best role and my favorite)
3. Nightcrawler (he was really great in this)
4. Apollo 13 (again, great performance)
5. Edge of Tomorrow (soooo much fun his role in this)

wow, that was the easiest one. This guy has been in some GREAT films

I didn't realize he was in nightcrawler or edge of tomorrow. I'll check those out.

Was he in avatar? He seems to be in a lot of James Cameron films.

Bill Paxton, seriously? Top 5 has jumped the shark so soon.

I like goofy Bill Paxton the best:

1) Aliens is by far his best performance....and yes you can put HER in charge.
2) Speaking of which, Weird Science! Chet was the ultimate bully big brother. Who ultimately got punked by a woman.
3) True Lies. Another goofy, buy enjoyable performance.
4) I know Twister was bad and over the top. But I enjoyed the hell out of Paxton being overly dramatic.

Well, I don't really have a #5, BUT...I really want to see A Simple Plan. This is either really good or really cheesy bad. Not sure which yet.

Honorable mention: I know it doesn't really count with it being a TV role, but GOD I enjoyed Paxton's over the top performance in Agents of Shield. He was F' ING GREAT in this role.

A SIMPLE PLAN is great.

That's on my list here--I am going to ignore supporting roles for the most part, I mean, come on.

1. ONE FALSE MOVE -- neo-noir, sets the tone for southern cops for the next 20 years (cf. TRUE DETECTIVE)
2. NEAR DARK -- one of the best vampire movies ever, he is awesome here.
3. FRAILTY -- creepy as hell, try to go in cold if you can, it's way better that way.
4. A SIMPLE PLAN -- his Oscar long shot, didn't work out, but this is a wonderful movie.
5. BIG LOVE -- TV, I know, but he makes polygamy adorable.
