Only 52 years old. One of the best screams in rock. Soundgarden featured heavily in my college soundtrack.

Fuck, I'm so sad. I got a chance to meet him once back in the early days of Audioslave. He was really nice to me. I'll never forget that.

So tragic.

Reading what little details they've released, I really, really hope it's wasn't auto-erotic asphyxiation.

Oh shit. That sucks. Down on the Upside was one of my favorite albums from the 90's. Amazing vocal range and power.

Fucking tragic. Hands-down my favorite singer from my second favorite band. Soundgarden changed my taste in music forever.

If only Kim had been able to say, "Hard to be screaming life with a noose around your neck, Chris. You really want to end up drawing flies while kissing the Texas sized ring on the hand of God? I know you've fell on black days, man, but shit...tomorrow's like...totally unknown. Superinknown. You need a hug? You need a spoon, man? This whole thing's crazy. Like some sort of fucked up mind riot."

Someone needs to analyze his DNA. He's got some sort of God gene in there.

I like that this will eclipse somewhat the Roger Aisles death. And that's a hard man to eclipse.

Because he was fat. That's why he'd be hard to eclipse.

AnywAy on topic, the Soundgarden sounds were tough to play in Rock Band and impossible to sing.

"Seasons" is one of my favorite Autumnal songs ever. I wish there was more like it.
